lyrics

My conscience gave up on me, when I chose to play this game. I ignored you when you called out my name.
Lights, camera action, welcome to tphe show where I pretend to be something I know that I'm not.
I'll spill my blood on this stage until I collapse from the pain.

I wear this mask, to hide my shame, it's time to show my face.
And now Im finding out, that I fashioned this myself. This is not the face the world should see, this is not the man I want to be. I'm slowly breaking, can someone save me?

And now I'm choking on my own lies, moving cautiously to avoid glancing eyes. Do they know!? Do the care!? Am I the only one faking my way through this life!? God I don't want them to see, that I'm not okay...

I wear this mask, to hide my shame, it's time to show my face.
And now Im finding out, that I fashioned this myself. This is not the face the world should see, this is not the man I want to be. I'm slowly breaking, can someone save me?

Burn the backdrop, tear the curtains down, I'm razing this place to the ground. I refuse to live my life, confined to the curse of deprivaty. Such a glorious sight, to see this theater ignite.
I'll stand on the ashes of this dead man, I will declare my enemy defeated.
I'll tear this mask off....I'll tear this mask off...I'll tear this mask off...
Behold My TRUE face.
Behold,
My scars,
My vices,
My pain,
My crisis,
My guilty, broken secrets.

Searching for a way out of this mess that I've made
And now Im finding out, that I fashioned this myself. This is not the face the world should see, this is not the man I want to be.

I may not be perfect, but at least now I'm honest. I'm coming clean and it's so good, to finally be free!
